You know, I got scammed from a chick in Florida on a weapons and accessories lot once. It was a bit fishy at first - the lot was $15, and they wanted $14 shipping, because it supposedly weighed twelve pounds. I responded that I thought that was a bit excessive, and there was no way on earth that 150 accessories weighed that much. After haggling, they went down to $8 shipping. Fine. I sent the money, and never heard another word. No responses to emails, no replies to my Square Trade I filed, and no response from the PayPal report I filed.
Months later, I got an email from someone else who got bilked from the same seller, but this lady got robbed for like $200. She was also a paralegal. Long story short, she was tracking down all of us who left negative feedback, and was getting us all to file a claim with the Florida Attorney General (where the seller lived) for fraud. I guess if they get enough reports, they'll investigate. So I went to the Florida Att. Gen's site, filed a report.
ANother month goes by - out of the blue, I get an email from the seller saying that she "found my package" and she was sure she sent it... and had the nerve to ask if I still wanted it. I was like, "considering I paid for it 6 months ago, that would be the HONORABLE thing to do..." (I held back from calling this bitch every name in the book, but I wanted to). I got it a week later.
Oh, and the shipping cost was like $4, but I figured as much.
Anyhow, it's worth a shot. I know the tile wasn't much, but neither was my lot... and paypal and ebay don't really give a shit if its less than $25.
But if others are getting bilked, form a posse and light a fire under her ass. [img]smile.gif[/img] It works!!
